You & Me forever and ever –

Let me in my pet name for you is now ‘Giddy’, I’m now careful with the Weather, no more Hail over Mary from me.
Fighting your rights and my three-day old grease, oiling moments these, better to win than lose, I had all those gambling deviant tramp’s games with their own one thousand woes.
Take me back and I’ll marry you again and again, decorate myself for the sake of ‘Auld Lang Syne’ and our wedding album.
I remember the first photo in that gift – ‘You & Me’ – the rest ruined by non-paying guest aliens with moral exactitude.
We could be free again to be free of it all, Hobos within meagre lain straw floor wagon trains, assisted dying in Switzerland, I’m all ears and ideas now.
I haven’t eaten since Friday.
