Scraping the Sky –

Tower Blocks, ‘The Projects’, sky-high living, sheltered life for surplus to requirements people
Off-ground with the Kestrel and the Buzzard, it’s all leg-losing usefulness, and the people up there, they never come back down to look around
Stilted Manhattan Mansions with a binocular view of the Village Green, just another ‘Project’, entirely different agenda
If you want new age coffee with milky froth, take that steep descent, take that steeper climb back up, it’ll all go cold while you try to spell ‘Matterhorn’
And there are still lucky men and lucky women
