Stonewall builders – Walls built before machine, heaving-up stones in driving rain for …

Walls built before machine, heaving-up stones in driving rain for purpose, assured walls clamped together by poor bodies.
There alone, the people laying hard stone, lining and ringing fields of pasture and till with veins of granite five stones high.
The life of living with land for ‘Life’, and the walls lasted until now, and now, straight broken stone lines with past builders dead.
But hands and minds today take unremembered pasts on those lives, their stonewall lines, so five stones fall over, more over time, and now most lay random on forgotten fields.
