Land grabs in adverts, kill wild land, lay Protestant on the land
Push Indians up hills, the weather beat their faces to a pulp, no longer red, icy white
Pioneers, foreigners, prairies, Yankees, farmers, ranchers, laughing cowboys, log cabins, sepia
Map, border wall, dangerous lesser things, All
Prairie life in summer stillness with endless days of nothing coming into view, clean clear blue-sky days, water pulled from round wells
Brains beat raw, forgotten, mad-loco
Feet with holes, wagon trains, horses, cattle herds stayed with the real cowboys, John Wayne spun
